| Description |
This seminar provides the practical information to select the right DC motor drive system in the power range up to 500W.
The components of servo drive systems and their characteristic properties are looked at in detail: motor, gearhead, encoder and controller. You'll learn about the interpretation of product data and how you can use them for the selection of drive components.
A systematic selection process is presented and applied to several application examples. |

The participants.
- gain an overview of the components of a servo drive system and their interaction.
- learn how to interpret the data sheets of DC and EC motors, gearheads, sensors and controllers.
- have selected a motor and drive components for several drive layouts (e.g. spindle drives, belt drives) and operation conditions (continuous and cyclic operation)
